Butler punish G'berg with a 6-0 thrashing

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Is Guggisberg house the soccer power that we used to know some time ago? It will take hours and perhaps days to answer this question. Guggisberg house has over the years produced a lot of athletes and footballers. This even made Agyengo, the ex-coach of the soccer team who now resides in Texas in the United States to adopt the house as his one and only. Guggisberg was known to be superior in both athletics and soccer.

Samuel Adade and Land Cruiser, all former sprinters of the college resided in this great house. In their days, all the remaining houses forgot about winning when it came to athletics. Likewise, they had the likes of Olongus and Pele who also palyed for the soccer team and made it to the finals of the 2002 Regional Milo Championship.

The current Gberg boys haven't taken the spirit of the former players of the house or could it be said that Butler house are in for the trophy again?

The defending champions mesmerised and destroyed the Gbergans today in a 6-0 thrashing. The Gberg defenders made up of Akomeah George, John Asante and Kojo Frimpong, popularly known as Igwe, could not stop the President's house.

School team captain Paul Manu scored two spectacular goals that make him arguably the best person to captain the soccer team. Butler house supporters chanted through out the game and warned the remaining houses of a bashing as the league progresses.

Butler all the way. Can any of the houses stop them? This is a multi-million dollar question. The Butlerians are extremely talented.
