The national Milo football
championship is scheduled for June 28, 2008 in Sunyani. Prempeh represents Ashanti
for the fourth successive time in the prestigious national competition.
Prempeh lost in the 2004 competition to Potsin AMASS, won the 2005 championship by
beating Winneba Secondary 8-7 on penalties, and lost in the 2006 final to Potsin
AMASS by a lone goal. Then the 2007 competition was postponed indefinitely just when it
was nearing the starting date. Now the Milo finally returns.
