Mr. Lartey giving instructions to the team at half time
Prempeh College continue their preparation towards this year's National
Milo Championship. They played a friendly against Odartey Lamptey
Academy which is owned by the football legend, Nii Odartey Lamptey of Black Starlets fame.
Prempeh College beat their opponets by 4 goals to 3 with the goals coming
from the boots of Eugene Kwakye Sarfo, Derick Offei, Paul Manu and Charles Brenya. Offei's goal was his second in as many matches.
After the game, the coach, Mr Lartey stressed the need for the midfield to
be coherent with the defence so as to avoid the conceeding of many goals in
a match.
In another development, the National Milo Championship has been
postponed indefinitely as African countries meet in Accra for the Africa
Milo Marathon on the 1st of July. A new date will be rescheduled after the international marathon.
That notwithstanding, the preparation of our boys continue. The boys were especially motivated by a cash donation they received from
Senior Sarfo Kantanka of Virginia.
