The National Milo football Championship which was scheduled to start in Sunyani on June 24
has been
postponed indefinitely as African countries meet in Accra for the Africa
Milo Marathon on the 1st of July.
A new date will be rescheduled after the international marathon.
This sudden postponement has dampened the spirit of the Prempeh boys. However, the boys are still training hard because the
postponement may likely destabilize some of our opponents training sessions.
The boys were especially motivated by a cash donation they received from
Senior Sarfo Kantanka of Virginia. Senior Kantaka of the Class of '64 sent the money as his contribution to the Prempeh sports program.
The boys and their coach extend their gratitude to the donor.
